We are a fun, creative, and welcoming community of friends living in a 13-bedroom 6.5-bathroom Victorian in the Nopa / Alamo Square neighborhood, San Francisco. We encourage you to read this posting first, to get a sense of who we are. If afterwards, we sound like a good fit to you, then please fill out this form to help us learn more about who you are! 😊
(Most of) our current cast at our mega annual Halloween party :’)
We’re a crew of 13 ranging from mid-20s to mid-30s. We have a wide range of interests, but we’re fairly active/sporty - many of us enjoy running/biking, volleyball, fusion dance, and leaving the city occasionally on weekends for hiking or camping trips together. We often bond by cooking/sharing meals with one another and working on projects to improve the house. We have a strong culture of hopping onto activities/events that housemates (or friends of friends!) propose, be it water-coloring, rock climbing, beach raves, or county fairs.
Hopefully our photos give you a sense of our life amongst current housemates, alumni, and friends.
🥘 House Dinners — We host optional weekly house dinners (with rotating cook/clean teams), often with friends joining the table. Some weeks it’s a space for check-ins or logistics; other weeks, it's just food and vibes.
🌙 Chill Nights — On lowkey evenings, you’ll find a few of us stretching in the living room, sweating in the sauna, or sprawled on the rug chatting about books, schemes, or Alex’s latest 3D printing project.
🌁 SF Adventures — Think Stern Grove concerts, local film screenings (from Oscar docs to HUMP), salsa and hip hop classes, renegade dance parties, and farmer’s market runs
🎉 Hosting Events — We’ve hosted a couple larger parties each year including an intergenerational swing dancing & brunch, Halloween Rager, and house crawls with other co-ops
🌲 Trips & Excursions — We’ve done camping trips to Point Reyes, skiing in Tahoe, Yosemite hikes, and the occasional chaotic weekend in Vegas
